Cabinet Assembly

Assemble cabinets/installation of components (i.e. coax, bphe, air coils, compressors, etc.), making sure all parts are correct (match job traveler), installed properly and of good quality.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. occasionally (lifting greater than 65 lbs. requires two people)
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to maintain records accurately
  • Good housekeeping skills not only in work area, but entire facility
  • Ability to handle quality requirements set forth by the company
  • Must successfully meet physical requirements/demands of job including, but not limited to, standing (continuously), right/left hand grip (frequently), elevated work (occasionally), front carry (occasionally), floor to waist lift, and forward bending standing (occasionally)
  • Must be able to work and perform job requirements without close supervision
  • Follows all safety guidelines set forth by the company, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses)
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspect all components for damage before installing
  • Assemble cabinets making sure all parts are secure and square
  • Install correct components per the job traveler (i.e. compressor, coax, bphe, air coils, etc.)
  • Install all components properly using correct jig when necessary
  • Complete all required paperwork completely & accurately (i.e. inprocess inspection form, start up/shut down sheet, etc.)
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation
  • Use of various hand tools
  • Must be accurate, meticulous, and complete work assignments in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety regulations including wearing PPE
  • Must have ability to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Communicates verbally in a clear, concise, respectful & professional manner to all coworkers, supervisors, managers & guests
  • Must display a positive attitude and exemplary work ethic
